Ярвея

Yarveya is a contemporary Russian-language music project built around two performers, Yar and Veya. A male baritone and a mature female voice share one dramatic space: they may argue, answer one another or remain alone with the same thought.

The songs focus on people, time, memory, relationships, choice, roads and change. The project is not fantasy, historical reconstruction or ethnic stylisation. Its Slavic cultural DNA meets contemporary electronic production, pop dramaturgy and restrained live-instrument accents.

The 2026 albums Once and Silver Century approach personal memory from different angles. Silver Century brings early twentieth-century poetry into present-day music without turning it into a museum reconstruction.
