About the project
Yarveya’s songs focus on people, time, memory, relationships, choice, roads and change. The music brings together modern folk-pop, cinematic pop and alternative pop through contemporary electronic production, male and female vocals and precise live-instrument accents.
Slavic cultural DNA appears through the Russian language, poetry and vocal inflection, while the characters remain rooted in contemporary life. The project’s public line is “Songs about what remains.”
Releases
The debut album Once was released on 29 June 2026. Its seven songs concern meetings, departures and decisions after which familiar life can no longer return to its previous form.
Silver Century followed on 19 September 2026, presenting six songs based on poetry by Maximilian Voloshin, Innokenty Annensky, Dmitry Merezhkovsky, Elisaveta Dmitrieva, Konstantin Balmont and Zinaida Gippius. The texts live inside contemporary electronic and pop dramaturgy.
